Fireman's Park Lakeliner

Repairs to a lake that was leaking

Location:  McAllen, TX

Client:  City of McAllen

The City of McAllen had a problem with a lake that would not hold water.  The lake was located in the newly revamped Fireman's Park and news that the lake was leaking had the whole town talking.  The city soon decided to drain the lake completely and to find a contractor to install a clay liner in order to seal the lake.  Rovan Texas was the successful bidder and was awarded the project.

Because this project was already in the news, the city was very selective in their choice of who to hire for this job.  They wanted it done fast and they wanted it done right.

Their choice to go with Rovan proved to be a good one.  Test results following completion of the project indicated that the problem was fixed.
